Rocky Mountain Wildflower Panorama 1

Rocky Mountain National Park

On a gentle rocky slope above treeline in Rocky Mountain National Park, golden Colorado wildflowers bloom in the early July evening. These yellow flowers, often called Old Man of the Mountain, bloom in the rocky crags and fill the mountains with spashes of color where not much else will grow. This panorama was captured near Trail Ridge Road in the evening.
