Rattlesnake Arch Summer Morning 2
Rattlesnake Canyon
On a summer morning, the iconic Rattlesnake Arch (I’ve also seen this called Centennial Arch, Rainbow Arch, Akiti Arch, and East Rim Arch) rises into the cool morning in the McInnis Canyons area. Just west of Grand Junction and Colorado National Monument, this area houses 9 arches, the second highest concentration of arches in the United States, second only to Arches National Park in Utah. A trail leads along the bases of several of these arches, offering amazing views of these ancient rock formations.
