Pedernales River
I’ve been visiting Pedernales Falls a long time. This old cypress has been standing as long as I’ve been walking these lonely trails in the early morning hours. I love to see this tree in when the winds are calm and the sky is full of pastel shades. On this August morning, the grasses along the limestone rocks were showing red colors - maybe because of the season or maybe because of the dearth of rainfall. In any case, I did like the colors.
