Never Summer Mountains at Sunrise 1
Rocky Mountain National Park
From a curve along Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park, the Never Summer Mountains rise in the cool summer morning at sunrise. The tallest peak in this image, Howard Mountain, rises to 12,810 feet (seen on the far right). The rounded summit to its left just off center is Mt. Cumulus at 12,725 feet. The peak in the foreground is Red Mountain - 11,605 feet. To the left of Red Mountain is Mt. Nimbus at 12,706’ and Mt. Stratus at 12,520’. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
