Atop Little Rock, a mound of granite just west of Enchanted Rock, golden Texas wildflowers watch the Milky Way climb across the sky. This image is a composition of several individual photographs. The foreground was taken a little after sunset. The Milky Way was taken as a long exposure - approximately 2 1/2 minutes - well into the night and then blended into the original to show what how nighttime hill country landscape appeared.
