On a cold and beautiful morning after a night of storms, Lake Granby is calm and colorful. In the distance, the sun is just rising over the mountains while a cluster of white daisies sneaks into the foreground. Located between Grand Lake and Granby in Grand County, this 1st of three lakes (Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain Lake) is only a 35 minute drive from Winter Park. On mornings like this, I don’t mind making the drive in the early morning hours.
