San Juan Mountains
US Grant Peak, a 13,000’ peak, rises high over this beautiful cirque in the San Juan Mountains. The hike to Island Lake is around 4.5 miles each way, and the trail is filled with wildflowers in the summer. This panorama was taken on a beautiful summer morning in July.
