Frio River, Garner State Park
In Garner State Park, there is a spillway on the Frio River near the base of Old Baldie. On this cold, foggy morning, the water was like glass, smooth and clear, as a backdrop of colorful Autumn leaves offered both their colors and reflection to make for a beautiful scene.I waded out to the middle of the Frio, waited for the water to calm again, and enjoyed this amazing view. I almost forgot about how cold my feet were for a few brief moments!
