Icebergs break off from Breiðamerkurjökull glacier and float from Jökulsárlón Bay out to sea. However, the tide often brings them back to the black sand beach called Diamond Beach. Here, the icebergs are seen in the soft light of midnight on a cold summer night. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
