Taken from the west side of the Bergen Harbor, this photograph looks across at the Bryggen waterfront area. This stretch of land showed signs of human habitation at least 1,000 years ago, and after many changes and reconstructions because of battles, fires, and pandemics, it now serves the tourism industry through pubs, restaraunts, and museums and is also a part of the UNESCO World Heritage site.
