Annular Solar Eclipse Panorama 1

Space

October's annular solar eclipse provided a chance to see the Moon when it was too far away from Earth to completely block out the Sun, creating a “ring of fire” effect. The Moon appeared to be slightly smaller than the Sun, leaving a bright ring of sunlight visible around its edges.

Annular solar eclipses are a rare event that can only be seen from certain areas of the world.
