Two of my favorite state parks not far from my home are Pedernales Falls and Enchanted Rock. In Pedernales Falls, the Pedernales River flows over ancient limestone rock formations and is lined with cypress trees and their craggy roots. A forty-five minute drive away, the pink granite of the Llano Uplift rises 425’ above the surrounding area at Enchanted Rock State Natural Area. This gallery presents black and white photography from these two popular parks.
