For my inaugural journal entry, I’d like to share one of my favorite images. This sunset photograph comes from Rocky Mountain National Park along Trail Ridge Road. Last July, golden Colorado wildflowers filled
the rocky slopes. These rugged blooms, called Old Man of the Mountain, add splashes of color to a nearly frozen tundra. I visited this section of the road several times, each time coming away with something new, and one time even photographed an elk as the sun was setting behind the distant peaks. Thanks for looking! ~ Rob
