Georgetown, just north of Austin along I-35, is proud to claim the "most beautiful town square in Texas." Good shopping and tasty restaurants surround the Williamson County Courthouse in this quaint square. The courthouse itself, designed in 1907 and restored in 2007, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and boasts Beaux-Arts architecture.
